Meet The HOST

Roie Galitz is an award-winning wildlife photographer, explorer, and world-leading polar expedition leader based in New York City. His work across the Arctic, Antarctica, and Earth’s most remote ecosystems has made him one of the most influential visual storytellers in contemporary wildlife photography. Roie is a winner of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition at the Natural History Museum in London, one of the highest honors in the field.

His stills and films have appeared across BBC, National Geographic, and major global media outlets. In 2025, Roie was published in National Geographic’s Pictures of the Year, CNN Pictures of the Year, and The Guardian Pictures of the Year, reaffirming his status as a leading global documentarian of wildlife and climate. Throughout his career, he has earned more than 150 international awards, with work showcased in leading exhibitions, galleries, and publications worldwide.
