Trips run Saturday to Saturday. We ride every day. Each day begins with breakfast at the lodge and a quick chat on which spot will provide the best powder conditions. The experience is a mix of lift riding, side country and backcountry. 500”+ is the average annual snowfall. All guides are local Japanese legends and have been riding these zones for years. We will encounter all types of terrain; open bowls, pillows, and glades. The days end with a trip to one of the local onsens before dinner. This Is not Niseko so no need to worry about crowds and lift lines.

We ask that all skiers and snowboarders are advanced and comfortable riding the deepest of days at their local resort. The perfectly spaced white and silver birch trees make for the best tree runs of your life and give shelter from the storms. We will be hiking to and from the various side country zones at each resort so strong cardio is preferred.

THE LODGE

The Lodge is centrally located with Furano, Asahidake, Tokachidake, Sahoro, and Kamui all within striking distance. The lodge is made up of 6 rooms that can sleep up to 12 people. Lunch is at some point during the day and usually consists of ramen at the resort or snacks in the backcountry. Dinner can be had at the lodge or in town. All transportation each day is included in the experience.

GETTING TO THE LODGE

The main airport for international flights to Hokkaido is Chitose/Sapporo. For North American guests, flights will land in Narita or Haneda airports (Tokyo), layovers typically are 90 minutes or so, and then the 2-hour flight to Chitose. Pick up at Chitose Airport.
